Web24 mei 2002 · Larvae of the caddisfly genera Hydropsyche and Symphitopsyche are among the most encountered and abundant organisms of lotic environments in eastern North America. Yet, little is known of the larval stages of these genera. Previously, the larvae of only 12 species of which descriptions are presented here, were known.
