WebAug 2, 2024 · If there's a version mismatch between the xbox and pc version for a time, that can render all crossplay non-functional, until the matching patch for the other system to hit the store. Theres at least 2 versions of the game in the xbox store there, so they both have to be certified by the xbox team separately , if I'm not mistaken. Expand WebIt keeps throwing a Host BuildID Mismatch. My game is updated and the main menu appears with the Eggcellent Event thing however my friend main menu doesn't. He is on PC. He has the game through the Game Pass and he can't activate the the event or his main menu looks as it normally would.
