WebDec 24, 2011 · Try this: put the warped, old bridge upper part into some boiling water for about 15-20 minutes. It will straighten back. Let it dry 24 hrs. It should be good to go. At the very least you' ll have a back up bridge. While this is a good temporary fix, it will soften the maple and the warping will come back quicker the second time around.
